Here at Potter + Moore we are currently looking for some fresh talent to join our dedicated team. We are looking for people that are creative, energetic and able to keep up in an industry that needs to be consistently one step ahead. The positions available are:

  • Graduate Trainee: Product Management

  • Supporting a Product Manager(s) on key Health & Beauty multiple retailer accounts.

    Opportunity to learn about private label product development in Health & Beauty category, from cradle to grave & progress through Product Management career route for the right applicant.

    II. Specific Areas of Responsibility

    • Managing / Collating EPOS retail sales data
    • Presentation preparation: including data analysis, competitor reviews, mocking-up product, creating powerpoint presentations documents
    • Copy Writing
    • Managing Artwork Process
    • Initially liaising with suppliers (requests for samples/quotes etc..) moving through to liaising with customers on the telephone
    • Preparing pre-production and PR samples for customers
    • Range of other general activities to support NPD process
    • Product Costings
    • All other duties supporting the daily management of a multiple retail account

  • Graduate Trainee: Purchasing

  • Reporting to Senior member of the Buying Team to support and manage all buying data in the business

    II. Specific Areas of Responsibility

    • Liaising with suppliers on the phone and via email on a daily basis to obtain price information and delivery dates
    • Managing and updating buying information on internal computer system e.g. pricing, delivery dates & component details
    • Building Bills of Materials
    • Co-ordinating incoming freight administration and data
    • Approving and reconciling incoming invoices against original purchase orders
    • Involvement in obtaining costing’s from existing and new suppliers for new products
    • Assisting with the sourcing of new component items from global sources of supply
    • Product Costings
